Sumas began pioneering its way into the biosolids market with the completion of Chicago, Illinois’ Transportation and Application Biosolids Pilot Project in the mid 1980’s. Since that time, Sumas has persevered in establishing a reputation for having qualified personnel as well as offering prompt, responsive and reliable management services at fair and competitive market prices. This goal has also been accomplished with out default by safely and responsibly removing, loading, transporting and/or applying in excess of 800,000,000 gallons of liquid biosolids and over 400,000 wet tons of dewatered biosolids to date.
