Grinding of biosolids and other sludge's may be necessary if the material is for land application.  Sumas utilizes Muffin Monster grinders in sizes up to 12" and 10hp.  The DWS 40001 In-Line Muffin Monster is a device which effectively eliminates the requirements for treatment plant screening.  It breaks down solids, plastics, and other larger material in the line before the material is loaded into the trucks.  We have found that Muffin Monsters with their unique, solid state and programmable motor controllers are also designed for maximum reliability, safety, as well as unattended operation.
